About Me

My photo
Dr. Sharon D. Johnson, Ph.D.
For the past 19 years, I've worked with the state of Georgia, the Division of Public Health, helping to improve the quality of life for Georgia's residence. I've also served in various leadership roles, in particular, interim director for the Georgia Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program. WIC helps to safeguard and improve the nutritional health of mothers and their children. Also, improving infant and maternal health through prenatal smoking cessation advocacy, education and prevention, social awareness and behavioral modification. I enjoy using my natural ability to help others grow and development, a task that gives me great satisfaction. I have to make use of my gift for seeing inner meaning, implications, and possibilities. Somehow my inner vision of how thing could be must be translated into reality.
